Libby is now offering 1 hour lecture/demo classes. These entertaining but highly informative classes are a mix of live demo and PowerPoint presentations. Students get all the info without having to bring anything but a pen and paper. What a fun and easy way to learn!
Libby has been playing with thread for over 20 years. In this lecture/demo you'll get an overview of her favorite techniques as well as things she wishes she'd known when she started. Starting with the basics of needles and threads, Libby will then cover sheer ribbon illusions, potluck appliqu, and other stitching styles.

Come explore the possibilities offered by decorative and utility stitches on today's incredible sewing machines. We will cover adjusting and combining stitches,satin stitching, foolproof anchoring, tapering, pivoting, free-motion styles and double needle effects.
Each student must have a modern zigzag sewing machine with the ability to adjust the width in increments. I am by no means a mechanic, so please come to class with a clean machine in good working order.
Workshop Policies
We strive to be fair to everyone. These policies are in effect for workshops with national teachers.
You may register for one workshop for each teacher on the first day of registration. If you wish to take both days, we will hold your credit card until the end of the first day of registration &, if there spaces left in the second day, we will register you & notify you.
You may register for workshops in person or by phone (609-242-0033) or fax (609-242-0080) with a credit card. If you mail a check, you will not be considered registered until we have the check, we can not hold your space until your check arrives. Registration for classes requires payment in full. For national teachers we have a no refund policy unless we can fill your space - then you will be issued a refund in the form of a store credit. If QPs cancels a workshop for any reason, you will be issued a full refund. Workshop supply lists will be available to pick up in the store or by mail one month before the workshop. Workshop fees include the workshop & lunch if stated - supplies are not included.
