HI TECH WORKSHOP
$15, Sat, Feb 20th, 1-3pm. Don't want to be limited to what is on your embroidery machine or cards? Learn the basics of importing embroidery designs to your computer, software and USB stick for your embroidery machines. This is the basics to get you on your way to embroidering!
This is a basic class on how to move designs from the computer, into software and into a machine, we won't get into software lessons. Click here to register.
QUILTWORKS CLUB! $25
Do you own Designer's Gallery QuiltWorks? Want to learn how to use it? Join this club! Bring your laptop or watch on the overhead screen.
This software is for any brand of embroidery machine & will allow you to make your own quilt designs, do redwork, applique & MORE with one simple program! Club is free if QuiltWorks was purchased at QP. $25 if purchased elsewhere.

BEGINNING QUILTING BY MACHINE

8 week class
starts Tues, 12:30-2:30, Jan 19th.
Learn to quilt! Debbie will teach you to use your sewing machine & rotary cutter to start quilting. You will make a baby or lap sized quilt while learning to piece two blocks, add borders, baste, machine quilt & bind. Machine class, beginners, fabrics & book must be purchased at Quilting Possibilities.

EMBROIDERABLOCK OF THE MONTH TNT (Textures & New Techniques) -
The EmbroidaBlock program consists of:
- 36 Blocks
- Quilt As You Go
- New Techniques unique to this quilt such as trapunto, layering, pleats & tucks and textures!

You must own an embroidery machine to take this class. $15 to sign up and then $10 per month. Fridays,1-3pm starting January 15 or Saturdays 10-noon starting January 16th . All embroidery machine owners comfortable with their machines are invited to take this class. Please call the shop to register. We are not allowed to mail order this product.
CELTIC INTERLACES
Sat, April 10th, 12:30-3:30 with Linda Hahn.
You’ll be adding Celtic knotwork to quilts in no time with Linda’s unique construction method using Quick Bias or you can learn to make your own fusible bias! There is NO marking of the background fabric. Linda reviews several methods of making fusible bias tape as well as design possibilities not only for quilts, but for craft projects too! Students will create their knots – with the appliqué and top construction to be completed at home
ELECTRIC QUILT 6

Are you one of the man people who bought this great program & is totally at a loss as to how to use it? Are you wondering just what EQ6 can do for you? Join Linda as she explains the ins and outs of basic EQ6 - a great software program that combines blocks, borders and virtual fabrics, turning your computer screen into a design wall. Print quilt labels, draw original block designs, even import scanned fabric and photos. And no math needed – EQ6 calculates yardage and all pattern sizes & seam allowances.

EXPLORATORY SERGERY!
This is a club to learn more about that serger you own! This will be a hands-on learning class so you must be comfortable threading your serger from scratch, setting up 3 and 4 thread overlock stitches as well as making tension adjustments. We will be doing projects from Simple Serger Sewing. All brands of sergers are welcome. The cost is $20 per session or $60 for 6 months + the book. Click here to register.

Borders are beautiful – but keeping them straight can be a challenge. Join us as we explore options for
embroidering borders and getting them perfect every time using a variety of hooping techniques and
specialty stabilizers.

Explore the World of Florals
Spring is just around the corner, but we can bring the outdoors inside now by stitching some beautiful
florals on pre-made “blanks” and other easy to find items to create some fun projects. We will share tips on
how to choose just the right stabilizer for the design and the fabric.
April 8 -
April Showers
This class will give you some good ideas for making shower gifts – for both bridal showers and baby
showers. We’ll have tips on monogramming and customizing gifts for the bride. We will also look at proper
stabilizers to use for baby things. We will explore how to embroider on hard-to-hoop items such as baby
bodysuits. Join us as we create projects that are sure to become heirloom creations!
May 6 -
The Choice is Yours
Choosing the right design for a clothing project can be daunting. We will take a look at ways to gain
inspiration for choosing designs for garments, and factors that determine the placement on garments. Learn
everything you need to know to create wonderful wearable embroidery. We'll cover proper stabilization and
hooping techniques for your favorite fashion and fine fabrics.
June 3 -
Quilting Possibilities with the Embroidery Machine
We will explore the world of quilts as we learn which designs and threads to use for quilting the layers of a
quilt together using your embroidery machine as well as for embroidering quilt squares. Learn about
stabilizers and how to choose the proper ones for quilting designs and for use on quilts. Find out what to
look for in a good quality backing -- when to use the different types, how to apply them for best results and
how to safely remove them.
August 5 -
Appliqué and Other Tricks Your Embroidery Machine Can Do
Did you know you can appliqué with your embroidery machine? It is so very easy, and every corner will be
flawless. You will see two different techniques for appliqué by machine. We will look at the specialty
products that will make life easier. We will also see some other “tricks” your machine can do – from lace to
loops to in-the-hoop projects!
September 9 -
In the Right Place
Embroidering ready-made garments can be fun, but sometimes challenging. This class teaches tips on
embroidering ready-to-wear, including how and when to open seams, ideal products to use, coordinating
designs, and appropriate stabilizers to use. We will also discuss embroidering areas such as collars and cuffs
that can’t be hooped in the traditional way. Learn to get a design in the right place – the first time!
October 7 -
Christmas Creations
We will get you started on your road to embroidering some quick and easy gifts for Christmas. Use your
machine to its fullest as you embroider custom gifts for those on your Christmas list.
November 4 -
Knits and Velvets and Corduroys Oh My!
This class features embroidery products needed for flawless embroidery on fabrics generally considered“difficult”. Learn tips and tricks for dealing with difficult fabrics, choosing appropriate designs, and
designing a well-planned garment or other project.
December 2 -
From Oops to Hooray!
Ever have one of those embroidery “oops” moments? Explore the symptoms, diagnosis, and remedies for
what might at first appear to be a disastrous mistake in embroidery! The class will cover ways to creatively
cover and hide holes, spots, and stains in otherwise perfectly good garments. It will also cover prevention
methods to keep those mistakes from happening in the first place.
OPEN TO ALL BRANDS OF MACHINES
$75 for the year (10 months) or $10 per lecture/demo & includes CD each month of the project(s). Creative Club will be monthly on Friday mornings at 11 am. This will be a virtual club with lectures & demos done by the Bernina education department. This club is open to all brands. January 29 - Cool Cutwork
Antique cutwork is lovely and treasured. Learn to create your own cutwork designs with the new and innovative Cutwork Accessory from BERNINA. Create, repurpose or ‘add detail to retail’ for baby items, home décor and ladies apparel – and impress the ‘tween’ in your life with some edgy Reverse Appliqué.
February 26 - Pursenalities
A couple of great patterns will have you designing your own handbags to match your life and occasions. Design in large or small sizes and design handbags with inter-changing handles. A wide variety of cover styles will make this handbag your favorite as you take it from casual to formal.
March 26 - Transformations
Recycling in fashion is smart and chic. You’ll be surprised at what can be made from previously loved clothing as you create easy styles to match your lifestyle. Simple sewing techniques with unexpected treatments make this a success for everyone!
April 30 - There’s No Place Like Home
Use your sewing talents to re-make your home décor! Enjoy having the latest styles and trends by working into a room some basics that are easy to make and quick to design. These designer pieces are surprisingly simple and offer satisfaction for the entire family.
May 21 - Hardly Heirloom
Ruffles, ridges and pierced holes can be retro or refined depending on the fabrics selected. Be fashionable in both. See how much fun you can have with your BERNINA machine and accessories designed to make it all easier and executed with perfection.
June 18 - To the Point
On point or diamond settings are beautiful in home and quilt projects. Learn the easy and successful way to create this dynamic look that appears to be an advanced technique.
August 27 - Christmas in August
Get inspired to sew for Christmas with these clever embellishments and techniques in a wide range of projects.
September 24 - Inside Out
Bias bound, bias covered, zippered, and serged – are all seam techniques that make a project look great on the inside, but what about bringing it to the front? Never have an ordinary seam again on your projects as you incorporate the seam into a decorative detail for all to see – on the front!
October 29 - Strip Delights
Earn your stripes with these pieced projects with a striped effect. Easily created from jelly rolls or rotary cut strips we will create some fantastic looks for quilting and easy styled clothing. Decorate the strips with endless embroidery or stitch recipes.
November 19 - The Embellished Table
Set a pretty table for the Holidays. Utilizing a variety of appliqué styles - raw edge, fused, decoratively stitched or embroidered – create table settings plain or fancy for all your entertaining for the rest of the year.

HandiQuilter Rental Class - $60 Sat, Jan 9th 1:30-3:30 Quilt your own quilts with the ease of a midarm quilting machine! This class is required to rent the QP HandiQuilter16. Lecture/demo with some hands on. Click here to register

CLASS & CLUB RULES
When you sign up for a class, we need you to pay for that class in order to reserve your space. You may pay your class fee over the phone with a credit card, send in a check or come into the store. You will receive a supply list when you pay for your class. If you have required supplies at home, by all means, bring them. Otherwise, we would appreciate it if you would purchase the supplies from us. We offer a 10% discount on all listed class supplies.
For the comfort & enjoyment of everyone, please do not wear perfume or bring children or guests to class.
Classes will be cancelled by us one week prior to the first class if insufficient enrollment, please wait to buy your materials as there will be no refund for materials bought for a class that does not "go". "No go" class tuition can be put towards another class. Class fees will only be applied to another class or a gift certificate ONLY if you cancel your class more than 7 days before the start of class.
Class fees with national teachers are not refundable. We will try to fill your space & if we do, a store credit will be given.
